Spring Is Upon Us
Did someone say spring? If you are anything like me, you LOVE spring. Brighter, warmer days. The fresh smell of growing flowers and intentions of starting your home garden. Sun setting later in the evening, and of course spring cleaning your home.

The idea is to clear out things that we may no longer use or need and clean all the nooks and crannies in our homes. Spring cleaning can be a fun two person project, that maybe you and your husband tackle together. It can also be spread out over the course of a few days to get it all done. I have a thorough list of some deep cleaning tasks along with some fun ways to refresh your home.
The Details
I have an extensive list of deep spring cleaning that I've created. If would like a copy of this, please leave a comment below and I will email it to you. This list includes a deep spring cleaning checklist for the entire house, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and other areas!
Aside from spring cleaning, there are some other fun ways to refresh your home. One way you can start is by donating clothes, or items that you may no longer need or use. Throwing things away that can't be used or have gone bad.
Another fun way to refresh your home is to add some spring flowers to different spaces in your home. Kitchen counter, dining room table, or coffee tables is a good way to add natural fragrant and color to your home for the spring. Tulips, Daffodils, Lily's, Hyacinth, and Allium are some great seasonal options. Find a local flower shop near you or farmers market for the added bonus of a fun outing.
I love to add some more spring themed color to my home every year by trading out some of my home decor for seasonal decor. This does not have to be expensive. Thrift stores, or more affordable decor shops like At Home and Home Goods can help if you are on a budget. Wall art, pillows, blankets, rugs are all items you can trade out and add color in your home. Colors like light green, bright but complimentary yellows, calming blues, purple and rosy pinks can bring the spring feel to your home.
Lasty, adding some spring fragrance to your home and opening up the windows on those warmer days is the best way to invite the seasonal elements inside. Diffusing essential oils like, Lemon, Bergamot, and Jasmine will be sure to create a bright warm atmosphere in the home!
Creating and refreshing your home is such a fun way to start the season of spring off. Amongst all the many fun spring activities that await, let this be how you start it off!
Happy Homemaking! ✿
